It’s that time of year again! When we think of the year ahead and all that it holds. One very important aspect of our Church’s life is the visits you make to members of the congregation in need of some kind. It is a very important ministry and we thank you for all your commitment in this area in the past. It is often unseen, but takes time and commitment on your part and we appreciate it.
This year our annual get-together will take place on Saturday 29th September from 10:00 am – 12:45 pm in the Epworth Room.
Tea/coffee will be served at 10:00 am, and we hope to start promptly at 10:15 am.
Our guest speaker this year is Shelagh McCaughan, and the topic will be “Dementia”. Shelagh’s mother has suffered from dementia for many years and she will be sharing her experiences and insights. Shelagh is a Social Worker, but will be speaking personally, and those who have heard her talk have been most impressed. Please invite along any others who you feel would benefit.
Please note also that the annual commissioning of Church Visitors will take place a week later during the morning service on Sunday 7th October 2018.
